The present watch is consigned by a European collector and is preserved in a very good overall condition.

The firm, created in the 1850’s at the Chaud de Fond in Switzerland, was awarded a Silver Medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1878. The manufacture was especially renown in the American market which was increasingly affluent in this period.
