The dial, hands, hour markers, and coronet have developed patina. The dial is in good condition with an even patina throughout. The dial has lost most of its luminous material. The minute and hour hand have developed a heavy patina and the luminous material in them has turned to a black color. The day and date display are slightly off-center and do not display fully. The end links are marked '53' and the bracelet '2, 70,' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1970. The bracelet is later. The bracelet has scratches, stretch, and has developed a patina. The clasp has been polished. The day and date change as the hands pass midnight. The date wheel is displayed in red. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
