The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout and a small nick to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The case and lugs have been lightly polished. There is a light patina around the lug holes. The numbers are visible between the lugs and the serial number is slightly rubbed. The back of the lugs have light scratches and show evidence of the bracelet. The hallmark is crisp to the back of the 1 o'clock lug. The case back is in good condition with light scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped '6285.' The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. There are slight signs of wear around the edge of the dial from 7 to 8 o'clock. There is some very light brown spotting on the dial around the signature and 2 and 3 o'clock. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The buckle has developed a light patina and has light scratches. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
