Very clean in appearance, chronograph not functioning presently due to weakened springs although the mechanism appears to be complete, calendar functions changing at midnight where applicable, a service and cleaning is required. The dial is very nice, untouched and unrestored, fairly even overall patination. The case is in good condition, with light surface scratches, has been repolished at some time in the past, later replaced crown, no serial number on the case back. Bracelet in generally sound condition but gold plating is very/totally worn off. A very rare and fine example of the scarce reference 4768 in steel and gold.
The movement is in working order at the time of cataloguing, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy.
