The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good and has been polished and the numbers are crisp between the lugs. The back of the lugs show wear from the spring bars. The case back is in good condition with scratches and shows evidence of being opened. The inside of the case back is stamped '6263' and has watchmaker's marks. The bezel appears to be correct. The pushers, dial, and crystal are later service replacements. The bezel insert has small amounts of black paint loss throughout. The dial is in good condition with all its lume plots intact and a very small scratch to it at the top of the coronet. The minute and hour hands are in good condition with light scratches to them and the hands in the sub-registers have lost some of their white paint, most noticeably at 3 o'clock. The bracelet is marked '78350' and the end links '557.' The bracelet is later, in good condition with normal signs of wear. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
