The case is in pretty good condition and has been polished. The numbers are crisp between the lugs. The lug at 5 o'clock has few small nicks to its tip and side and the lug at 7 o'clock has a small nick to its tip. The back of the lugs have small nicks and show light evidence of the bracelet. The case back is in good condition with an engraving that reads, "Marvin Telmar." The inside of the case back is stamped '1675' and 'II.67' and has watchmaker's marks. The crown is a later replacement. The bezel and bezel insert appear to be original with light signs of wear. The bezel insert has faded lightly with age. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. The hands appear to be relumed and cracked, except for the GMT hand. The luminous material in the hands is slightly darker than that of the hour markers, however they glow the same under UV light. The hands have developed patina and there are several holes in the lume of the hour hand. The crystal has scratches. The end links are marked '285' and the bracelet '9315.' The clasp is marked '4, 70.' The bracelet is a later replacement meant for a Submariner with scratches throughout. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is not working at the time of cataloguing and a service is required.
