The case is in good condition with light signs of wear and has been lightly polished. The case has developed a light patina throughout. The hallmark is crisp to the back of the lug at 7 o'clock. The back of the lugs have some scratches from the spring bars and the case back is in good condition with signs of being opened. The inside case back has watchmaker's marks. The crown is a yellow gold replacement. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The dial is slightly dirtied around the base of the hands. The hands, date window and outer ring of the dial have developed patina. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
