Charlie's Pick
Fabled rarities, this lot of three bottles were crafted by Emmanuel Rouget under the guidance of the famed Henri Jayer, on behalf of his elder brother Lucien Jayer. Whilst Lucien owned the plots of Echezeaux and Les Beaumont and completed his own elevage (storing the wines in cask and then bottling them with his own label) Emmanuel tended the vines and presided over the production of the juice. The 1990 and 1995 vintages are superb examples of Pinot Noir handled by a true craftsman.
