Harlan Estate, which produced Bordeaux style blends, and since 1998 solely Cabernet Sauvignon, extends for 240 acres and is situated in Oakville AVA. Robert Parker, in The Wine Advocate, suggests that Harlan Estate “might be the single most profound red wine made not just in California, but in the world”, Stephen Tanzer says of Harlan Estate wines “this is a California ‘grand cru’.”
