ABOUT THE WINE
After being forced to leave the Charles Krug Winery in 1966, Robert Mondavi founded his eponymous winery in Oakville. He popularized To Kalon Vineyard as the home for Robert Mondavi Winery, a vineyard that is known for its first-rate Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as for its Sauvignon Blanc, from which Mondavi created his signature wine, Fumé Blanc.
