ABOUT THE WINE
Stationed in Saint Julien and acquried by Jean-Baptiste Braneyre in 1690, Branaire-Ducru is an underrated and sometimes forgotten when it comes to discussing wines of the Bordeaux region, however their regularity and elegance is not forgotten after drinking this wine. The conditions of the soils are unique in their mineral make-up and is one of the primary reasons as to why the wines are of such a special quality. With a large portion of the gapes being Cabernet Sauvignon, Jean-Dominique Videau and his time have been able to make these wines powerful, fresh, and elegant while staying true to the Saint-Julien spirit.
