ABOUT THE WINE
In 1995, while working for Hacienda Monasterio, Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck discovered a parcel of vines in Ribera del Duero which inspired him to venture on his own project. He named it after his childhood nickname, Pingus. The idea of Pingus is to push the limits of Tempranillo, focusing on low yields and high standards to produce a concentrated yet elegant wine.
