ABOUT THE WINE
Stationed in Saint Julien and acquried by Jean-Baptiste Braneyre in 1690, Branaire-Ducru is underrated and sometimes forgotten when it comes to discussing wines of the Bordeaux region, however the Château's regularity and elegance is not soon. The conditions of the soils are unique in their mineral make-up and is one of the primary reasons as to why the wines are of such a special quality. With a large portion of the gapes being Cabernet Sauvignon, Jean-Dominique Videau makes powerful, fresh, and elegant wines that stay true to the Saint-Julien spirit.
