ABOUT THE WINE
Founded in 1988, Peter Michael Winery was orginally purchased as a vacation property that happens to overlook the fertile soils of Knight's Valley. Their flagship wine, Les Pavots, is a Meritage blend that uses traditional Bordeaux varieties as is L'Esprit de Pavots and Au Paradis. The winery produces numerous Chardonnay bottlings, such as La Carrière, Mon Plaisir, Belle Côte, Ma Belle-Fille, Cuvée Indigène, and Point Rouge as well as Coeur à Coeur, Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend in the style of White Bordeaux. The illustrious Helen Turley served as their head wine maker in the 80s.
