ABOUT THE WINE
Domaine Raveneau is the undisputed leader of a dying breed of traditionally-minded producers in Chablis. All the grapes on their miniscule seven hectares of vines are hand-harvested early to ensure the requisite acidity levels that proprietor Jean Raveneau demands in his wines. Fermented in stainless steel, the wines age in old oak barrels up to 18 months. Their long lifespan requires patience in order to fully appreciate the intense minerality and the massive flavors unique to a Raveneau.

Noah's Pick
Chablis of the gods. Raveneau now shares space with the most revered producers of the Côte d’Or – this Domaine’s wines are nothing short of exceptional. Here we have three 1er Cru bottlings from the early 1990s – I suspect they are reaching perfection.
