ABOUT THE WINE
Pichon Baron is considered the finest 'super seconds' within the Pauillac 2eme Cru Classe of Bordeaux. Within their 73 hectares they grow 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Pichon Baron is well known for a deeply layered and full bodied wine, which should be aged at least 10 years before appreciation. They have performed very well in all of the top vintages in recent years.
