Richard's Pick
After a long train ride, Noah and I were offered a glass of red wine upon arriving at consignor’s home and was asked to identify the wine. My first impression was a fairly mature and rustic wine. More importantly, that the bottle was in excellent shape and storage was pristine. Upon revealing that it was a bottle of Clos Erasmus 1993, it all made sense. What was once a rich, concentrated, and oaky wine has now matured into an elegant wine with a touch of rusticity.
