ABOUT THE WINE
Since the winery's founding in 1961, Bruno Giacosa has been one of Italy's most respected producers of traditionally styled Barolo and Barbaresco. Giacosa's riserva bottlings, indicated by the iconic red labels, are wines of incredible complexity and finesse, that age. Bruno Giacosa's winemaking ethos elevates purity and simplicity above all else. In his own words “winemaking involves a great many small decisions, each affecting the next. One can only hope to get them right, to capture what there was in the grapes to begin with.”

Noah's Pick
We offer six bottles of each of the 1989 and 1990 vintage of this exceptional wine in this sale. Giacosa’s Barbaresco Santo Stefano Riserva is arguably the great winemaker’s most iconic wine. The 1989 is magnificent, one of the greatest wines Giacosa made, a beautifully pure expression of Nebbiolo at its finest.
