ABOUT THE WINE
Sitting on the Saint-Julien-Beychevelle plateau, the vineyard is influenced heavily by the Dordogne and Garonne River. In 1988, Patrick Maroteaux saw the potential in this extraordinary land and decided to enhance this gift. Consisting of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4% of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this perfect balance allows the soil to achieve its full potential without overusing it. Fine vineyard management and careful selection of grapes expresses the personality and complexity of the land.
