ABOUT THE WINE
Château Giscours’ history goes back to the 14th century. It served as a defense fortress until 1552, when it was purchased by a rich cloth merchant, Pierre de L’homme and converted into a vineyard. Various modifications and improvements were made afterwards by the Pescatore and Cruse families in the 19th century. The gentle climate and gravelly soil endow its wines with both delicacy and power.
