ABOUT THE WINE
Diamond Creek Vineyards was California's first exclusive Estate Cabernet Sauvignon winery. Founder Al Brounstein indentified four distinguishable vineyard blocks, each named after their geological forms: Volcanic, Gravelly, Red Rock and Lake. Red Rock Terrace with its iron based red hued soils, is slightly with just under 3 hectares under vine. The wines from this vineyard have the reputation of maturing earlier than those from the other vineyards.
