ABOUT THE WINE
Opus One, a winery in Oakville, California is the product of Baron Philippe de Rothchild, of Château Mouton Rothschild, and Robert Mondavi coming together for a joint venture in 1979 which took Napa Valley by storm. Baron Phillipe’s involvement in the venture gave credibility not only to Opus One, but to the entire Napa Valley wine industry.
