Lot Essay
The Panerai S.L.C, Siluro a Lento Corsa (the Slow Running Torpedo) represents the long lineage of Panerai's professional diver's watchmaking. The dial ultimately pays tribute to the slow-speed torpedo on which the Royal Italian Navy rode during their underwater missions. The present watch pays homage to the Royal Navy, and encapsulates the fundementals of the Panerai brand.
