The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Wear and fine tension cracking are to the turning edges, and minute losses are to the corners. Spots of soiling and tiny accretions are scattered, most notably to the edges. An area of discoloration is to the lower register of the paper element, and a tiny tear is near the center upper edge, both presumably studio-related. A soft crease and two tiny losses are to the lower edge of the paper element. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
