The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear, spots of adhesive residue and stray media, minute accretions, and hairline splits in the wood grain are occasionally to the side edges, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of support. A few tiny cracks are infrequently to the orange painted passages. Soft scuffs, fine linear abrasions, tiny nicks, and pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
