The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cup:
- chip and minute nicks to mouth rim
- firing flaws to the center of the interior
- minor kiln grit adhesions to the base
Saucer:
- a few kiln grit adhesions
- short glaze gaps around the foot
- chips to the foot rim
Mustard pot:
- the silver mounts and spoon are marked, which may be dated to early 20th century
- burst glaze bubbles to the handle
- the base polished
- light surface scratches
- both mounts and spoon are tarnished
Dish:
- on section of the rim broken into two pieces and restuck
- firing crack with associated hairline crack to the rim
- a few burst glaze bubbles
- nicks and fritting to the foot rim
