The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cup:
- earth and kiln grit adhesions, particular to one side
- speckling in the glaze
- small port of the mouth rim is misshapen
- heavy degradation or misfiring to the green glaze, as well as all decoration to one side
- small chip to the foot

Lamp:
- large chip to base
- minor chips to the interior of the mouth rim
- small chips and wear to the exterior of the mouth rim
- leans slightly
- soil encrustation throughout
- multiple small imperfections from production
