A SILVER-MOUNTED GILT-DECORATED BLUE-GROUND KENDI
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bulbous body is decorated in gilt with shaped panels enclosing peony branches beneath the tall neck decorated with upright plantain leaves. The spout, neck, shoulder, and mouth, are fitted with silver mounts.
