The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Larger handled cup:
- long hairline crack extending from mouth rim to near the bottom
- burst glaze bubble to base
- kiln girt adhesion and chips to foot rim
- small areas with red paint
- chips to end of both handles

Tall cup:
- small nicks to foot rim
- two iron spots to interior

Smaller handled cup:
- three chips and a hairline crack to mouth rim
- small kiln grit adhesions to interior
- chips to both handles
- burst glaze bubbles to exterior
