The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First cup:
- a star crack through the body
- another hairline crack extending from the mouth rim
- a chip to the mouth rim
- a large burst glaze bubble and another smaller burst glaze bubble to the interior
- fritting to foot rim

First saucer:
- fritting and nicks to mouth rim
- nicks to foot rim
- glaze gaps

Second cup:
- small chips and fritting to both mouth rim and foot rim

Second saucer:
- small chips to mouth rim, one with associated hairline crack
- nicks to foot rim
- glaze gaps and burst glaze bubble to the base

Third cup:
- small chips and fritting to the mouth rim

Third saucer:
- frits to mouth rim
- chip to foot rim
