The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Meiping:
- restored chips to side of the neck
- glaze gaps
- debris to the glaze
- one shoulder is slightly higher
Baluster vase:
- mouth rim and foot are misshapen
- heavy wear to the mouth rim
- glaze is discolored
- burst glaze bubbles, particular in the glaze
- uneven glaze and chipping to the foot
- wear to the foot pad
Cup:
- cup is slightly warped
- hairline to the rim
- burst glaze bubbles to the body
- moderate wear to the unglazed foot rim
Ovoid vase:
- areas of restoration to the neck and the body
- multiple burst glaze bubbles, glaze gaps, indentations and glaze degradation
- general wear to the surface
- heavy soiling to the crackles above the foot
- moderate wear to the unglazed foot rim
