TWO BLUE AND WHITE CUPS AND SAUCERS AND A BLUE AND WHITE CUP
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The first cup and saucer is decorated with ladies alternating with floral sprays, the saucer is inscribed on the base with qi yu tang zhi (hall of precious jade). The second cup and saucer is decorated with standing ladies with floral sprays, the cup is inscribed on the base with a xing character and the saucer is inscribed with a guo character on the base. The third cup is decorated with standing ladies and plants, the base is inscribed with qi yu tang zhi ('hall of precious jade').
First cup and saucer 2 ½ and 3 7/8 in. (6.4 and 9.8 cm.) diam.
Second cup and saucer 2 ½ and 4 in. (6.4 and 10.2 cm.) diam.
Third cup 2 ½ in. (6.4 cm.) diam.
