The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First jar:
- crackles to the glaze
- small chips to foot rim

Second jar:
- a few hairline cracks to the mouth rim
- crackles to the glaze
- chip to foot rim

First water pot:
- fritting around the edge of the shoulder
- a star crack visible on the exterior

Second water pot:
- nicks and frits to mouth rim
