The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Meiping:
- misfired areas of discoloration
- slightly misshapen from firing
- glaze gaps to the interior of the mouth and around the bottom of the neck
- glaze degradation
- burst glaze bubbles and other glaze gaps to the body
- kiln grit adhesions near the foot
- chips to foot rim

Vase with handles:
- glaze misfired
- kiln grit adhesions and glaze gaps throughout
- crackles to the glaze
- uneven glaze near the foot
- vase leans slightly
