We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First cup:
-hairline crack and an area of red paint to mouth rim
-chip to foot rim
-a few small scattered burst glaze bubbles
-rubbing to gilding on the rim

First saucer:
-chips to mouth rim
-a firing flaw to the interior
-slight misfiring to the enamels
-kiln grit adhesion and a few small glaze gaps and burst glaze bubbles to the exterior
-chips and kiln grit adhesions to foot rim
-rubbing to gilding on the rim

Second cup:
-frits and chips to mouth rim
-small nicks to foot rim

Second saucer:
-chips and frits to mouth rim
-surface abrasion to interior
-scattered small burst glaze bubbles to base
-kiln grit adhesions and nicks to foot rim

Third cup:
-appears to be in overall good condition except minor kiln grit adhesions to foot rim
