TWO FAMILLE ROSE RUBY-BACK DISHES
19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY SAMSON ET CIE, FRANCE
The first dish is decorated in the center with a shaped panel enclosing ladies seated at a table accompanied by boys, within various decorative borders. The second dish is decorated with enamels and en grisaille with a lady, a gentleman, and two boys seated in a riverscape, all within decorated borders.
