TWO FAMILLE VERTE CUPS AND TWO SAUCERS
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The first cup is decorated on the exterior with flowers and rocks with birds and insects on a cafe-au-lait ground, and the saucer is decorated on the interior with two fans and Buddhist emblems. The second cup is decorated on the exterior with panels of fish, crabs and shrimp. The second saucer is decorated with radiating panels of chrysanthemums alternating with flower branches.
First cup and saucer 3 ½ and 4 5/8 in. (8.9 and 9.6 cm.) diam.
Second cup 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) diam.
Second saucer 4 5/8 in. (9.6 cm.) diam.
