The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Ovoid vase with fisherman:
- chips to both mouth rim and foot rim
- one short hairline crack to the on the base near the foot rim
- crackles to the glaze
Pear-shaped vase:
- a few hairline cracks to the mouth rim, one of which stabilized
- fritting to the mouth rim
- crackles to the glaze
Ovoid vase with beasts:
- one hairline crack to the mouth rim
- kiln frit adhesion to one shoulder
- a few glaze gaps
- chip to foot rim
- crackles to the glaze
