TWO SMALL UNDERGLAZE-BLUE-DECORATED CRACKLE-GLAZED JARS
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The first globular jar is decorated with leafy flowers in underglaze blue on a greyish crackled-glaze ground. The second jar is decorated with a garden scene beneath a ruyi-head border.
First 3 1/8 in. (7.5 cm.) high
Second 4 in. (10 cm.) high

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, accessioned in 1919 (Rogers Fund).
