We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Vase:
- burst glaze bubbles and imperfections to the mouth
- firing flaws to the shoulder
- iron spots to the body
- minor surface abrasions
- minute glaze gaps to the base

Bowl:
- lacking cover
- firing cracks, star cracks and hairline cracks to both interior and exterior
- two areas of pierced panel slightly warped
- part of one roundel has been restored with associated overpainting
- minor glaze gaps on the base
- slight discoloration to the top band
