The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
With some scratches throughout consistent with age and use, cover tight on dish, finial slightly pushed in, lacking a grid or liner, chased and engraved decoration crisp, engraving possibly removed from bosses on cover, though very neatly done, not thin, and does not affect border scrolls of cartouches, good condition.
