The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
-As can be expected for lacquer of this age, the panels each have overall craquelure, and a few expected age cracks, with some overpainting.
-There are a few small chips and areas of touchup to the painted decoration, expected small flakes and minor scratches to the lacquer ground, and the lacquer ground has been refreshed in some areas.
-Some separation at the joints, as may be expected.
