In good, stable condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered nicks, marks and scratches, consistent with age. The japanned and gilt decoration throughout refreshed, and with some scattered light lifting, losses and scratches. The right hand corner of top drawer lacking a piece of veneered decoration. The Japanned decoration with several scattered restorations and associated overpainting throughout. The reverse with a 12 inch square panel removed in order to accomodate entertainment unit cords. With repaired shrinkage cracks to side panelleing, but well disguised. With evidence of old, now inactive wood worm.
