The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good, overall condition, structurally sound and ready to place. With the expected light nicks, marks and stratches, consistent with age and use. With some scattered chipped losses, primarily to legs and apron. With some slight wear to painted decoration, particularly on arms and feet. Some legs retipped and with additional wear, consistent with age and use. With some slight variation in tone of painted decoration. With some signs of old, now inactive wood worm.
