The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In stable condition and ready to place. With the expected light nicks, marks and faint scratches, consistent with age and use. With scattered repairs and associated infill. One chair with repaired front leg. The canape with some slight seperation at seams. The gilding with some light flaking and rubbing, and likely later done. With signs of old, now inactive, woodworm. The upholstery in stable condition, with some scattered reweaving to pale silks, but retains fresh colors.
