The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has not been removed from its strip frame, which appears to be inherent. Occasional wear and fine cracking is to the extreme edges and corners. Accretions are infrequent. Examined under ultraviolet an area of mottled fluorescence with associated drip trails is to the lower left quadrant, possibly a vestige of the artist's varnishing process. Tiny spots of inpainting are to the upper corners.
