The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper edge and the two side edges are deckled. There are artist pinholes to the upper corners, and the lower edge undulates slightly. Gentle wear is occasionally to the corner tips and edges. A few tiny spots of media transfer, likely studio related, are to the lower register. Visible only under ultraviolet light, a few accretions have a bright fluorescence, but not in a manner consistent with inpainting.
