The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Wear commensurate with age including abrasions and discoloration to the silver and areas of wear and loss to the enamel. Woven handle showing signs of fraying.
-Amethysts, rubies and seed pearls: of decorative quality, with chips and abrasions.
-Enamel: with areas of loss to the red coat of arms charm, heavy abrasions to the blue enamel.
