The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The box:
- a 2.5 x 1 cm. loss to mouth rim with associated crack, a few other losses and chips to mouth rim and fine cracks to interior, some with tiny associated chips
The cover:
- small losses to the inner mouth rim
- cracks, some with associated loss to the interior of the cover
