THE BROCADE FRENCH, CIRCA 1750

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Three of the cushions with seams to the front. The brocade with some snags and pulls. A few minor areas of staining and discoloration. Some losses to the dark blue and metallic threads revealing ground beneath. Overall in good stable condition, ready to place.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
